Neewer NS65L Lantern Softbox 65cm

A 65 cm spherical lantern softbox from Neewer with 12 ribs, a standard Bowens mount and a quick-release frame. Neewer lists it at 55 cm deep and 1.14 kg, folding down to about 81 cm long. Unlike a front-facing softbox, a lantern spreads light in every direction, giving a soft, low-contrast source that lights the room as well as the subject. That all-round spread makes it a favourite for overhead ambience, for round-table interviews and podcasts where several people share one source, and for walk-and-talk shots with the light on a boom. Use a flag or the skirt on the camera side when the room is small and walls start to pick up too much spill.
