The RF Venue 2x1SPLIT is a small passive splitter/combiner for wireless audio, rated 10-1000 MHz. One BNC antenna port feeds two BNC outputs (R1 and R2), or works the other way round to combine two signals onto one line. RF Venue specifies 50 Ω impedance and 20 dB isolation between R1 and R2, and the R1 port passes 12 V DC when the connected device supplies DC over the coax. It needs no power and weighs about 63 g. Typical jobs: running two receivers from one pair of antennas (one splitter on the A line, one on the B line) or merging two antenna zones into one receiver. Being passive it adds some loss and does not amplify, so for more receivers or long cable runs an active splitter such as the Sennheiser EW-D ASA is the better tool.
