The Sennheiser EW-D ASA is an active antenna splitter; this is the T-U-V-W version for 694-1075 MHz. It distributes one A/B antenna pair to four receivers (dual 1:4, or 1:8) at 0 ± 1 dB gain, and an RF output links a second splitter for eight channels. Outputs A1-A4 carry 12 V DC to power Sennheiser EW-D receivers, and both antenna inputs supply 12 V (320 mA) for antenna boosters. It runs from the supplied NT 12-35 CS power supply. In our kit it serves the Sennheiser XSW 2 E-band sets, whose band falls inside 694-1075 MHz: four receivers share one antenna pair instead of eight rod antennas. It does not cover the Q1-9 band (470.2-550 MHz) of the EW-DX system, which uses the EW-DX EM 4's built-in splitter and the RF Venue 4 ZONE-Network instead. Directional antennas such as the Sennheiser ADP UHF are rented separately.
