Sommer SDI Cable Drum (70m)

Seventy metres of Sommer SC-Vector 0.8/3.7 75 ohm video coax, terminated BNC to BNC. Inside is a 0.8 mm solid copper core in a 3.7 mm gas-injected PE dielectric, finished with a 6 mm PVC jacket. Sommer rates the cable for 111 m at 3G-SDI, 75 m at 6G-SDI and 48 m at 12G-SDI (cable only, without connectors). For HD-SDI and 3G-SDI this length is well within spec, and 6G-SDI is still under Sommer's 75 m figure, though with little margin, so check 6G links before the show. 12G-SDI is not rated this far. It is the length for long cross-venue runs, such as a balcony or remote camera position back to production, where splitting the run would add joints and loss.
