Garcia Lounge 2026: a World Cup house, live every day

Hosts and guests in football shirts watching a match in the Garcia Lounge living room

Garcia Lounge came back in 2026 as A Casa do Mundial: a house in Corroios, south of Lisbon, live every day of the World Cup, from 11 June to 19 July. Reactions, debates, challenges and guests, hosted by Garcia, Impakt and Martim Calado.

The catch: three hosts meant three shows, live at the same time, one on each host's Twitch channel, plus a multistream page on garcialounge.com. We spent the 11 days before the first show setting up the house.

What we built

  • Cameras all over the house, operated and robotic, from the kitchen and the terrace to the firepit, the garden and the pool
  • A control room with a Videohub router, an ATEM and three vMix machines, one for the cameras and two for the shows
  • An X32 with a separate mix for each host and mics for guests
  • Stream Decks for the operators, and locked ones for two of the hosts to run parts of their own show
  • A control page for each host with timers, music, scenes and their audio mix
  • A live score overlay for the matches, fed by the show's own backend
  • Up to 14 house cameras streamed 24/7 to a public page

The crew
