Sony FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G

The Sony FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G is a full-frame wide-angle power zoom with a constant f/4 aperture and internal zoom, so its length and balance stay fixed. Four XD linear motors drive the zoom and two more drive autofocus. It has independent zoom, focus and aperture rings plus a zoom lever, weighs 353 g, takes 72 mm filters and focuses down to 0.24 m. Because the zoom happens inside the barrel and can be operated from the camera, it suits gimbals and remote setups where a manual zoom would upset the balance or need a hand on the lens. Smooth, slow constant-speed zooms work for interviews, venue reveals and live-stream angles. The lens is dust and moisture resistant and has no optical stabilisation.
