O equipamento

Sobre este equipamento

The Light Storm LS C120d II is Aputure's daylight COB fixture: fixed 5500K, CRI 96 and TLCI 97, with a maximum draw of 180 W. The head has a Bowens mount and a handbrake yoke, and it runs from a separate control box that takes mains through a Neutrik powerCON connector or a camera battery on its battery plate. The box gives 1-100% dimming, built-in effects, DMX512 in and out on 5-pin XLR, and it works with Aputure's 2.4 GHz wireless remote.

It is a dependable key for interviews and corporate set-ups, usually through a softbox or lantern, and it drives Bowens-mount optics such as Fresnels and projection snoots. On live shows and studio sets the DMX ports let a lighting desk run it alongside the rest of the rig. Aputure quotes fan noise at 18 dB.

From mains through the supplied powerCON AC cable into the control box. The box also carries a battery plate for location work; batteries are not part of this item.

Yes. The control box has DMX512 in and out on 5-pin XLR, so it can be patched into a desk for dimming and effects.

Any Bowens-mount modifier: softboxes, lanterns, reflectors, Fresnels and optical snoots.

Not on its own. Output is fixed at 5500K, so use CTO gel or a bi-colour fixture to match tungsten sources.
