Sony A7S III

Sony's A7S III pairs a 12.1 MP full-frame back-illuminated sensor with internal 4K recording at up to 120p in 10-bit 4:2:2. It records S-Log3 and HLG, sends 16-bit RAW over a full-size HDMI port to a compatible recorder and stabilises the sensor on five axes. Both card slots take CFexpress Type A or SD, and a 9.44-million-dot OLED viewfinder sits above a fully articulating touchscreen. At 699 g with battery and card it rides easily on a gimbal or in a small cage, and its low-light performance makes it a common choice for dim venues, night exteriors and concert coverage. It cuts well with an FX3 as a second angle, since both use E-mount lenses, NP-FZ100 batteries and S-Log3.
