The gear
About this gear
An articulating SmallRig arm built around a stainless steel rosette joint in the middle and a 360° ball head at each end. A single thumb lever tightens the rosette and both ball heads together, so the whole arm sets in one movement. The accessory ends use 1/4"-20 screws with anti-twist locating pins and protective pads, and SmallRig rates its current 11-inch rosette arms at 3 kg.
On set it usually carries a 5 or 7 inch monitor, a wireless video receiver or a small LED panel off a cage, top handle or clamp. The toothed rosette gives the elbow a firmer hold than an all-friction joint, which helps a monitor stay where it was set during handheld moves.

Questions about this gear
SmallRig rates its current rosette magic arms at 3 kg, which covers on-camera monitors, wireless receivers and small LED panels. Larger monitors belong on a dedicated mount.
Both accessory mounts use 1/4"-20 screws with anti-twist locating pins. Add a cold shoe adapter or clamp if your accessory needs a different interface.
Turn the central thumb lever: it clamps the rosette joint and both ball heads together. Loosen it slightly to reposition, then tighten before letting go of the accessory.
