The gear
About this gear
IKEA's GUNDE is a folding chair with a black polypropylene seat and backrest on a galvanised steel frame. Open, it is 41 cm wide, 45 cm deep and 78 cm high, with a 45 cm seat height, and IKEA tests it for 100 kg. It locks in the open position so it cannot fold by accident, and a cut-out handle in the backrest makes it easy to carry; IKEA lists it at 2.18 kg. Folded, it is about 6 cm thick. At esports events it is the seat at the LAGKAPTEN / ADILS player tables and doubles as crew and audience seating, folding away between sessions.
