About this gear
The Molus G200 is a compact bi-colour COB monolight from Zhiyun, rated at 200 W with a one-press MAX mode that lifts peak output to 300 W. It covers 2700-6500K with a quoted CRI of 95 or better and TLCI of 97 or better. The head has a full-size Bowens mount and active DynaVort fan cooling, and it runs from a separate power adapter/controller with a screen and two buttons, so settings can be changed from the floor. Power is AC only.
Remote control goes through the ZY Vega app over Bluetooth Mesh; there is no DMX. In practice it is a simple key or backlight for interviews, product tables and content studios, with a Bowens softbox or lantern doing the shaping. The fan gets louder in MAX mode, so stay in normal mode while sound is rolling.
