Brawl Stars Challengers Final 2026: two days in Istanbul

A team on stage in confetti, facing the crowd at ESA Espor Arena in Istanbul

On 5 and 6 September 2026, the 12 regional champions of Brawl Stars Challengers met at ESA Espor Arena in Istanbul for the Challengers Final. Supercell organised it, PEW PEW co-organised and produced it, and we were on site from set-up on 2 September to tear-down on the 7th.

On the line: a $20,000 prize pool and the last Challengers slot at the Brawl Stars Championship Last Chance Qualifier in Guangzhou.

The format

  • Day 1: the whole group stage, four groups of three, played on two stages with two streams on air at the same time.
  • Day 2: eight teams, single elimination, one main stage, and the Grand Final in front of a sold-out arena.

What we ran

  • Project management and on-site operations
  • Competitive operations and tournament admin
  • Player management
  • Broadcast management, broadcast graphics and on-camera talent, with an English desk and a Turkish host
  • A Discord server for teams and partners, with a room for every team and the running order posted live
  • Video and photo coverage, and the edit

The result

FUT Esports Academy beat SK Gaming 3-2 in the Grand Final, went home with $6,000 and took the Challengers slot at the Last Chance Qualifier in Guangzhou on 17 and 18 October. The show went out on Twitch and YouTube, with co-streams in ten languages.
