O equipamento

Sobre este equipamento

The RF Venue 2x1SPLIT is a small passive splitter/combiner for wireless audio, rated 10-1000 MHz. One BNC antenna port feeds two BNC outputs (R1 and R2), or works the other way round to combine two signals onto one line. RF Venue specifies 50 Ω impedance and 20 dB isolation between R1 and R2, and the R1 port passes 12 V DC when the connected device supplies DC over the coax. It needs no power and weighs about 63 g.

Typical jobs: running two receivers from one pair of antennas (one splitter on the A line, one on the B line) or merging two antenna zones into one receiver. Being passive it adds some loss and does not amplify, so for more receivers or long cable runs an active splitter such as the Sennheiser EW-D ASA is the better tool.

Destaques

  • 01Passive 1-to-2 splitter or 2-to-1 combiner, 10-1000 MHz

  • 0320 dB isolation between the R1 and R2 ports
  • 04R1 port passes 12 V DC when DC over coax is present
  • 05No power needed; about 72 x 55 x 24 mm and 63 g

Perguntas sobre este equipamento

For a diversity system, two: one on the A antenna line and one on the B line. Each unit handles one antenna signal.

No. It is passive, so each output carries less signal than the input. For more receivers or long cable runs, use an active splitter.

RF Venue marks only the R1 port as passing 12 V DC, and only when the device on that port supplies DC over the coax.

RF Venue rates it for 10-1000 MHz, which includes the UHF ranges used by wireless microphones and in-ear monitors.
