O equipamento
Sobre este equipamento
The Sennheiser ADP UHF is a passive directional paddle antenna for 470-1075 MHz. Sennheiser specifies a typical gain of 5 dBi, an opening angle of about 100° at -3 dB and a front-to-back ratio above 14 dB. It connects by BNC (50 Ω, no DC path) and has both 3/8-inch and 5/8-inch threads for mic stands.
Aimed at the stage, it concentrates reception on the performance area and rejects much of what arrives from behind, such as the audience or the production desk. That makes it the usual step up from rod antennas when receivers sit at front of house or side stage. Use two per diversity receiver or splitter. Its wide range covers both the EW-DX Q1-9 system and the XSW 2 E-band sets, and Sennheiser lists it for EW-D receivers, the EW-D AB booster and the EW-D ASA splitter.

Perguntas sobre este equipamento
No. The ADP UHF is passive and has no DC path. For long cable runs, Sennheiser's EW-D AB antenna booster can be added.
Point the side marked 'main direction' towards the area where the transmitters are used. The opening angle is about 100° at -3 dB, so position it where that angle takes in the whole performance area.
Two for one diversity system: one on the A input and one on the B input of a receiver, splitter or combiner.
Yes, as a passive 50 Ω antenna it works with systems that use BNC antenna connectors and operate within 470-1075 MHz.
