An NP-F970-size (Sony L-series) Li-ion battery: 7.4 V and 6600 mAh (48.84 Wh), with its own USB-C charging input rated 5 V / 2 A, so it can be topped up from a USB charger or power bank without a dedicated NP-F charger. It also fits standard NP-F chargers, and a four-LED gauge on the side shows the remaining charge.
It earns its place on location where mains power for chargers is scarce: run an LED panel, monitor or wireless video kit from an NP-F plate, then recharge from a vehicle USB-C port or a power bank between setups. Charging at 5 V is slow compared with a fast NP-F charger, so rotate several packs rather than relying on topping one up mid-show.
