A SmallRig articulating magic arm, about 14 cm long, with a ball head and a 1/4"-20 screw at each end. One large thumb lever in the middle locks both ball heads at once, and each end has a thumbwheel and a rubber pad to fix the accessory without scratching it. SmallRig rates it for loads up to 5 kg; it weighs about 152 g and is made of aluminium alloy and stainless steel.
Use it to put a field monitor, small LED panel, wireless receiver or microphone on a camera cage, top handle, super clamp or suction mount, angled where the operator needs it. The hex key in the kit tightens the thumbwheels further under a heavier load. Keep a monitor close to the arm and the lever fully locked, so the joint does not sag during a take.
