A 1U managed switch from NETGEAR's AV Line with 24 Gigabit PoE+ ports (up to 30 W per port, 480 W total budget), two further Gigabit ports and four 10G SFP+ slots, all on the rear panel so the front stays tidy in a rack. Switching capacity is 132 Gbps, and NETGEAR IGMP Plus handles multicast out of the box.
This is the core of a production network: NDI or Dante over IP, PTZ cameras powered straight from the switch, intercom and control traffic kept apart on VLANs, and 10G fibre uplinks to a second rack or the gallery. A browser interface with AV profiles keeps setup quick; AVB needs a separate NETGEAR licence.
