About this gear
The Canon EOS C200 is a Super 35 cinema camera with an EF mount and an 8.85 MP CMOS sensor. It records 4K Cinema RAW Light internally to a CFast 2.0 card at up to 60p (12-bit up to 30p, 10-bit at 50/60p) and UHD MP4 at 150 Mbps to SD cards, with Full HD up to 120p. The built-in ND gives 2, 4 and 6 stops, extendable to 10, and Dual Pixel CMOS AF works with compatible EF lenses.
Two XLR inputs sit on the body itself, so audio does not depend on the top handle, and 3G-SDI plus HDMI outputs feed monitors or a switcher. Crews use it for documentaries, interviews and corporate films where RAW grading latitude matters, and it takes Canon EF glass such as the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II without an adapter.
