About this gear
Web Presenter 4K is a hardware streaming encoder with a 12G-SDI input that takes HD and Ultra HD sources up to 2160p60, plus a 12G-SDI loop output and SDI and HDMI monitor outputs. It streams over its gigabit Ethernet port using RTMP or SRT, can tether a 4G or 5G phone over USB as a backup connection, and also appears to a computer as a USB-C webcam. Blackmagic has since renamed it Streaming Encoder 4K.
It takes the streaming PC out of the chain: feed it the programme from a switcher, load the platform and stream key, and go on air from the front panel. Power comes from an internal AC supply, with a 4-pin XLR 12V input for battery or backup power. At one-third rack width it sits beside a switcher, and the loop output lets a second unit send the same feed to another platform.

Yes, up to 2160p60, as well as 720p and 1080p. Your platform and upload bandwidth set the practical limit.
Each unit sends one stream. To reach a second platform, feed the 12G-SDI loop output into another Web Presenter.
