The SmallRig 2220 is an aluminium and stainless steel crab-style super clamp with rubber-lined jaws, a T-shaped wingnut, several 1/4"-20 threaded holes and an ARRI-style 3/8" locating point. SmallRig rates it at 2.5 kg, it weighs 99 g, and resellers list it for rods and tubes from 10 mm up to 55 mm.
It is the clamp to reach for when a monitor, small light, wireless receiver or magic arm has to go on a stand leg, handrail, desk edge or cage handle. The ARRI-style locating point takes arms with anti-twist pins, so a monitor arm stays where you set it instead of slowly turning loose on its thread.
