About this gear
ZowieKBD is a desk PTZ controller with a 7D joystick, zoom rocker, 41 backlit buttons, six dial knobs and a 5-inch 800x480 LCD that previews one or four cameras. It speaks VISCA over IP, ONVIF, NDI, serial VISCA and Pelco D/P over RS-232 or RS-422/485, stores up to 255 presets and addresses up to 255 IP cameras. An HDMI output repeats the preview on a larger monitor.
At a multi-camera show it gives one operator hands-on pan, tilt, zoom, focus and exposure for a group of PTZ cameras, with tally borders on the preview and quad groups for jumping between areas. Live preview works with NDI|HX (on the NDI-activated version), ONVIF and RTSP feeds. Power comes from PoE (802.3af) or the supplied 12 V adapter, in a 1.83 kg alloy chassis.
