About this gear
A budget heavy-duty video tripod from K&F Concept with twin-tube aluminium legs, a mid-level spreader, a 75 mm bowl and a fluid head. For the 72-inch VA18 kit (KF09.121), K&F lists an 8 kg maximum load, a working height of 84 to 184 cm, an 88 cm folded length and a weight of 3.88 kg.
The head pans 360° and tilts from -70° to +90°, takes a side-loading quick-release plate with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws, and the pan handle can go on either side. It covers static wides, interviews and event coverage with mirrorless or small camcorder setups, and a 1/4" thread on the tripod can hold a monitor or light on a magic arm.
