The gear
About this gear
The SH15 is Sirui's entry-level aluminium video tripod kit: three-section twin-tube legs with a mid-level spreader, a 75 mm bowl and a fluid head with a sliding quick-release plate. Sirui's data chart gives a maximum height of 155 cm, a minimum of 78 cm, a folded length of 82.5 cm, a weight of 3.6 kg and a 10 kg maximum load.
The head pans 360° with adjustable pan friction and tilts from -75° to +90°, and the feet switch between metal spikes and rubber pads. It makes a sensible second interview angle, a locked-off wide on a livestream or a support for a lighter mirrorless camera that needs smooth pans.
