About this gear
The 10Gtek G0101-SFP converts between a 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 port and an SFP slot, so the fibre side is set by whichever 1G SFP module is fitted: SX for multimode, LX or longer-reach modules for single-mode. It runs from a 5 V 1 A adapter, uses a Marvell 88E6320 switch chip and passes jumbo frames of up to 9216 bytes.
Used in pairs, or against an SFP port on a switch, it carries Ethernet over fibre well beyond copper's 100 m: a remote camera or encoder position, a ticketing desk, or an access point at the far end of a site. Jumbo-frame support matters when the network runs NDI with a raised MTU.

That depends on the SFP module fitted: an SX module needs multimode fibre such as OM3, an LX module needs single-mode. Both ends of the link must match.
For a point-to-point link you need a converter at each end, or one converter facing an SFP port on a switch with a matching module.
No. It is a 1 Gbps converter and takes 1G (1.25G) SFP modules, not 10G SFP+ optics.
