About this gear
A 5-inch monitor and recorder with a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen rated at 2500 nits, bright enough for outdoor use and able to show HDR10 and HLG. It has 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0a inputs and outputs, and records 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes or DNxHR up to 2160p60 to a UHS-II SD card or a USB-C drive, plus Blackmagic RAW from supported cameras such as the Sony FX3 and FX30.
On set it works as a bright director's or focus monitor with waveform, parade, vectorscope, histogram, 3D LUTs and focus assist, or as a backup and proxy recorder next to the camera originals. Audio is embedded SDI or HDMI only, with a headphone jack for monitoring. Power comes from the 12 V supply or Sony NP-F style batteries.
